OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS are fairly simple. They may be subject to change depending upon developing circumstances. We do reserve the right to add, change or delete any of this information as needed.
Southern Women Crafts tries to create the best product with the best available materials. Where possible we let our customers know what kinds of materials we use. But we can only give you the information that we received when we purchased our raw materials. We do try to purchase and use only hypoallergenic materials.
Most of our yarn we use is either 100% acrylic or 100% cotton. We normally do not produce any items using any other types of yarn. We do wash and dry everything we make prior to offering it for sale.
Our bead and wire items are produced with hypoallergenic metals and we do try to list their types for those who may be allergenic to certain metals. Since the cost of pure gold is so high we will probably never use that with any of our products.
All buyers with any kinds of allergies should read our description carefully. You can always email us with any questions.
We do try to take well-lit photos of all of our products but between natural light, indoor lighting and digital cameras we cannot guarantee what you see online is the true color of the item you are purchasing. Again, we try to list the manufacturers color name for as many products as we can.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with any product you purchased, please send us an email within 7 days after receipt of your item stating your intention of returning your item to us. Once we have received the item we will refund you your purchase price and sales taxes you paid for your item. You will have to pay for the return shipping and purchase a tracking number to ensure that your returned package arrived. Again, once we have received the item back we will refund you within 3 to 5 business days.
SIZING INFORMATION
Most of the items that we created we measure in inches with a regular sewing measuring tape.
For beaded items, we generally measure from bead end to bead end without including any of the clasps or ear wires.
Anklets – take a tape measure and wrap it around your ankle to see what range that will fit you comfortably. For most bead and wire creations they will not stretch too much when in use so you want to get the length, in inches, that fits somewhat snugly but not too tight. Some of our items we include an extra bit of metal chain to allow for when your ankles might be swollen.
Bracelets – same as above but measure your wrist.
Choker Necklaces – measure around your neck as close to the center as possible. Our items we have created in a bead and wire circular pattern look best as choker necklaces, bracelets, and anklets and not so much for regular necklaces.
Necklaces/Eyeglass Chains – drape the measuring tape around your neck and down to the point you would like the chain to hang to get an idea how many inches you will want. We list all of our items with the length in inches in the title so you can quickly find what you are looking to purchase
For our hand crocheted items we measure the item laying flat on a table surface and include the length and width of each.
Hats – we flatten them, measure across the bottom and double that figure for the circumference. Then measure from the top of the hat to the bottom down the center line to get the depth.
Scarves – we measure the width across the bottom of the ends and the length is measured down the entire length of the scarf. For the hooded ones, we measure from the back of the head to the front to give you the depth. Again, take your measuring tape wrap it around your neck and down your front to get an idea about how long you would like the ends to be.
Totes/Cellphone/Water Bottle Holders – we give the width and height of the bag but for the straps, you will need to measure either around your shoulders and down your side or across your body from your neck down to where you would like the tote to hang.
