This past weekend was a bit misty and rainy but oh so much cooler than the previous weekend. We welcome Fall weather in Florida it’s just not like other parts of the country. We get some fall colors later in the month and into November but we are still pretty green. The temperatures are gradually getting a little cooler here in the Northern areas and that will be a very welcome change in the coming weeks.
Our main internet source is back up and running and we have reached finally gotten 70% of our products up and ready to ship from our new online store. We hope to have the remainder done by the middle of this month. We have category updated except for the earrings sections. Since we have created more of them than any other category we saved them for last.
We are still running our 50% off special on ALL of our online stores but you have to use the code to get the 50% off your total purchases excluding shipping of course. I don’t know if you noticed or not but the U.S. Postal Service has increased their shipping rates once again. Please be aware that our shipping rates were automatically updated as well.
We have also decided to open our shops up to international shipping. On Etsy, until the end of this year, we will ship to whichever country they have listed under their shipping program. On Amazon, we have separate listings for their new Handmade section for Mexico and Canada. Of course, with all the natural disasters in parts of Mexico, we may not be able to reach all areas. But, again, we will be using Amazon’s International Shipping program for both of those programs.
The U.S. Postal Service has opened mail service to Puerto Rico but we won’t be expecting any orders from that area for a long while yet. They have enough to worry about with just the basic necessities. This online store is opened to ship through the U.S. Postal Service to any of the U.S. states or territories including the military addresses. We had to read up on the forms to send and will be happy to fill those out with your orders.
